Last Friday, I was navigating a drone for the first time in my life. The DJI Mavic Air 2 is my newest tech-toy to create even better movies. Well, for sure, I have still a lot to learn. This video is the result of my first 14 minutes of flight time.
All shots were made at the Repulse Bay Beach on Hong Kong Island. Repulse Bay is located in the southern part of the island, to the east of Deep Water Bay and the west of Middle Bay and South Bay.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the beach was on Friday still closed, and totally empty. Unfamiliar circumstances for a beach on Hong Kong Island. But this may change hopefully in the next weeks again.
The easiest way to go to Repulse Bay Beach
You can take the Island Line or Tsuen Wan Line to the Central Station first. Exit the station to the Exchange Plaza through the Exit A. There are buses running at the Exchange Square, including Buses No. 6, 6A, 6X, 66 and 260.
