Today is a great day! I just launched my new YouTube video series titled “Songkran in Thailand“. I filmed this series about 9 months ago during the Thai holidays.
During that time, I visited Thailand to see the beautiful beaches of Railay and to hike one of my favourite trails in Thailand: The Dragon Crest Trail in Krabi. Now, you have the opportunity to join me as I visit Maya Bay, explore stunning beaches in Krabi, climb rocks for amazing views, hike in Thailand’s jungle, and celebrate Songkran!
In the first episode, available today, I begin my journey from Phuket to Ko Phi Phi, island hopping with new friends and hiking to the stunning viewpoint of Ko Phi Phi. New episodes are released weekly!
About Koh Phi Phi
Koh Phi Phi is a beautiful group of six islands in the Andaman Sea of Thailand. It is well-known for its natural beauty, including limestone cliffs, turquoise lagoons, and white sand beaches. The largest and only inhabited island is Koh Phi Phi Don, where you can find various accommodations, restaurants, bars, and shops. The second largest island is Koh Phi Phi Leh, home to the famous Maya Bay, a secluded cove featured in the movie ‘The Beach”. In my video, I also explore other places such as Bamboo Island.
Koh Phi Phi and nearby islands receive over 1.4 million tourists annually, with more than 5,000 visitors daily during the peak season from November to April. The resident population of Koh Phi Phi Don, the only inhabited island in the group, ranges from 2,000 to 3,000 people.
