Exploring the best islands and beaches in Balabac, Philippines

In my previous blog post, I wrote about the beginning of my fascinating journey in Intramuros, where I found myself in the middle of local culture and exploring notable landmarks like Fort Santiago. Now, just a few days later, I arrived in Puerto Princesa. And there we did start the real adventure. It was also here that I first met my travel companions, who would become my travel family.

Located at the southwesternmost tip of the Philippine archipelago, Balabac consists of 31 islands with beautiful beaches, stunning sandbars, and diverse marine life. It’s a paradise for those who want solitude and unspoiled natural beauty. One of its most famous attractions is Onok Island, known for its clear turquoise waters and powdery white sands rivalling the Maldives. More information about the trip to Balabac can be found in my first blog post about Balabac – or in my video.

The video is part of my new limited series, where I’ll be unveiling a new episode weekly. This epic journey took me from the buzzing city of Manila, through Puerto Princesa, onto the untouched beauty of Balabac, and back via Puerto Princesa to the breathtaking El Nido. Stay tuned for the next episode!
