Victoria Peak Hong Kong

It was a really humid and hot afternoon, middle of August 2020. The new wave of COVID-19 arrived in town, and we had not just to carry a lot of water. Also, we had to wear a mask. But however, together with my son I wanted to escape the home – a place I stayed too often while the pandemic.

So we started our trip to the peak. My 6-year-old son Diego and I began our trip on the Pok Fu Lam Road, nearby of our home. From there we were climbing up to the Lung Fu Shan Country Park and following the trail to the Pok Fu Lam Reservoir.

Once arrived at the reservoir, we walked up to Victoria Peak for a quick pit stop. After a lot of water and a cup of ice cream, we were heading back home on the Lugard Road – back to the Hong Kong University.
