Today is my birthday. There won’t be any big party. COVID-19 is screwing us on this one too. But no, in Hong Kong we can’t complain at the moment. We have few restrictions and can move around Hong Kong pretty much freely. And the number of new infections has dropped almost to zero in the last few days. Nevertheless: More than 4 people should not gather together. So it’s better to postpone the party.
Unlike last year. At that time, I became 40 years old. And my friends had a great Birthday gift for me: A gimbal. So I decided to travel and, mainly for myself, to edit movies – something I always wanted to do since I was a kid. Thanks to Luma Fusion, my iPad, the iPhone, and the new DJI Osmo Mobile 2 gimbal, it became possible. Without expensive software and even a more expensive camera.
Looking back on 2019
And that’s why, today, I’m looking back on the last year. On the beautiful places, I was privileged to visit in 2019. I travelled to the Philippines, had several trips to Thailand and went back “home” to Switzerland as well. End of December 2019 I edited the following movie. A review of 2019 in two minutes.
Let’s hope that COVID-19 will soon be gone. Certainly, it will still take several months until we can move freely again. In the meantime, I will use my 2019 video footage to create more happy memories for my YouTube channel.
